Foxtel Now Box deal: get two months of every Foxtel Now channel, free

21 November 2017

Foxtel Box & Foxtel Now offer

Looking for a reason to cut your pay TV susbcription, or just an easier way to binge on your fave TV and live sport this summer? Foxtel's newly-launched Foxtel Now Box is now available - and to celebrate, the company is throwing in two months of free access to every Foxtel Now pack when you buy online.

Pick up the $99 Foxtel Now Box, and you'll get free access to Foxtel Now's seven channel packs, with a combined value of $104 per month (or $208 in total). Foxtel Now Box buyers can enjoy two months of on-demand and streaming TV from Foxtel's Pop, Drama, Lifestyle, Docs and Kids packs, plus  ad-free movies and live sport.

Each Foxtel Now pack includes live streams of selected Foxtel channels, plus complete seasons of popular shows such as The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Mr. Robot, Outlander, WestworldScandal, and Big Little Lies. Once your free two months is up, you can pick which packs you'd like to keep subscribing to: packs can be added to, or removed from, your Foxtel Now account at any time.

What is the Foxtel Now Box?

The Foxtel Now Box gives viewers access to the Foxtel Now on-demand streaming service, plus Stan (with a separate subscription), Google Play apps, and free-to-air channels via its built-in TV tuner. The Foxtel Now Box also includes built-in Chromecast functionality, so you can stream content from your tablet, phone, PC or Mac direct to your television.

Although Foxtel Now and Stan are available through the Foxtel Now Box, it doesn't yet have all the features of competing set-top boxes, such as Apple TV or Telstra TV - noticeably absent is the inclusion of Netflix. However, for a reasonable $99, the Box still offers pretty great value, particularly if you can't live without 24/7 sports, lifestyle TV, or documentaries.

The $99 Foxtel Now Box deal includes the box itself, two months of free Foxtel Now, plus a remote, cables, and a 24-month warranty. Once you've received your Box, simply plug it into your TV to begin watching. There's no complicated installation required: all you'll need to set up your Box is a Foxtel Now account and an internet connection.

The combined Foxtel Now Box and Foxtel Now offer is available through to January 31, 2018, but only to customers buying directly from Foxtel's website. For more info on the Foxtel Now Box, check out our review here
