Vodafone is now taking expressions of interest for its upcoming National Broadband Network powered home broadband offering. Vodafone says it will be getting in touch with those who leave their details to discuss individual needs in the lead up the launch. While there's no official launch date yet, Vodafone says the service will go live before the end of this year.

If you want to express your internet, you'll need to give Vodafone your name, address, phone number via this form.

Vodafone General Manager of Fixed Matthew Lobb says the company will be focusing as customer service and experience as key points of difference.

"Despite the potential of the NBN, many consumers have told us that they are unhappy with their existing fixed broadband provider," said Lobb. "They are frustrated by the poor connection experience, confused about their options, and when things go wrong they feel they are left in the lurch."

"Vodafone’s aim is to provide exceptional customer service and care to ensure the best possible experience for all of our customers. Just as Vodafone has done for mobile, we will be bringing simplicity to our fixed broadband plans and a great customer experience to match."

While Vodafone Australia has yet to confirm pricing or plans, Vodafone New Zealand already offers fixed line broadband, and provides a slight discount for customers who bundle their broadband and mobile phone plans. It wouldn't be surprising to see a similar move here.

Budget telco Amaysim also plans to enter the home broadband market next year, and we're expecting other MVNOs to follow suit.
