Magikarp Jump is an unhinged game about the most useless Pokémon

Magikarp might be a pretty useless Pokémon, but it's now the star of its own, delightfully weird game: Magikarp Jump.

Far simpler than last year's Pokémon Go, Magikarp Jump is a clicker style game where you feed and train a Magikarp to make it strong enough to beat other Magikarp in jumping contests. Seriously.

Once you max out a Magikarp's potential, you'll start again with a fresh, stronger fish. As with other clicker games, there's an upgrade-based progression system to help you train up each new fish faster and faster.

It's not really a game in the traditional sense, but Magikarp Jump is still satisfying enough to be a fun little time killer.

Magikarp Jump is free-to-play, with in app purchases that can be used to speed up your progression and remove the wait time on certain events.

Magikarp Jump is available for download from the App Store and the Google Play Store.
