Great news for iPhone owners: PayPal will now be available to customers buying from iTunes, the App Store, and more.
PayPal is a free, easy way to link credit cards, debit cards, and bank accounts for secure and flexible online payments, without disclosing your financial information to sellers. Apple and PayPal already partner in the US, but have now announced that the digital payments system will be an 'i-Purchasing' option for customers in Australia, the UK, Germany, Israel and Mexico.
To select PayPal as your go-to payment method for iTunes, Apple Music, iBooks, iTunes, the App Store, and iCloud, you'll need to sign in to iTunes with your Apple ID (or by using Touch ID, if applicable).
Once your account settings appear on screen, tap 'Payment Information', then select 'PayPal' and follow the prompts. As soon as you're all set up, all future purchases of albums, apps, books, games and even iCloud storage will automatically be charged to your nominated PayPal account.
As PayPal is already accepted by millions of retailers worldwide, it's a smart move by Apple - and extra convenient for iPhone and iPad owners looking for a one-touch way to make purchases via their device.
