Sony's latest flagship smartphone - the Xperia XZ - is now available on contract through Virgin, following almost half a year of Telstra exclusivity.
Virgin is positioning the Xperia XZ as more of a value proposition, offering the phone, unlimited talk and text, and 5GB of data for $50 per month on a 24-month contract. For comparison, Telstra's cheapest Xperia XZ plan is $80 per month, and includes just 1GB of data.
Key specifications for the Xperia XZ include a 5.2-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 2,900mAh battery, side-facing fingerprint reader, 23MP rear-facing camera, and IP68 water-resistance.
